How can I turn off the annoying security warnings when I open an access database

Turn down the security levels.
Tools-Macro-Security
But on your own head be it.

This is a macro security function that was added to 2003.

In design mode go to Tools, Macro, Security... set warning levels to low.

This is a setting on the end users machine and will have to be set on any machine that is running an Access application. Even if an application is being distributed via Access runtimes, the user will get this message unless this setting is done. In the runtime situation there is no easy way to make this setting. We found the registry key that makes the setting and created a file to run on these machines that will turn this warning off.

Randy,

I'd be interested in seeing the file you have created, if you don't mind...

Ed Metcalfe.

Please do not feed the trolls.....

Hey Ed--did you get the file from Randy? Randy, can I get it too?

Thanks--

Would you be willing to elaborate on this comment above:

" We found the registry key that makes the setting and created a file to run on these machines that will turn this warning off"

I would like to see the code as well. Thanks.
