how can I telnet without interactive mode

I need telnet a host,
send account name/passwd without interacyive mode,
I mean that I can finish this in a shell script,
Can I do this by "here Document", I try ,but failed,
Any suggestion ?

If you telnet to act like the r*commands, it will not work, it always asks for passwd. Too many security issues. You can get ssh to work like r* commands.
