How can I tell SHATTER when to start?

Hi, I have created a shatter effect in AE 6.5 pro but when I render the scene, the shatter starts at the beginning of the scene. How can I make the shatter start on the frame I want?

I believe that you can find a SHATTER tutorial on TOTAL TRAINING'S website. It's a fairly complex plugin (thanks to our friend Brian Maffitt).
