Hey all,

I'm going through my licensing for non-Microsoft programs and I was wondering--is there an MMC that would tell me how many connections are active on a server? If I have 50 licenses for Program1 on ServerA and only 20 people are connected at a time, I need to stop renewing all those licenses. BUT, first I need to be able to tell how many connections there are.

And yes, I know I can go into Computer Management > Shared Folders > Sessions and see, but I want something on the desktop of my workstation so that I can monitor it better.

Thanks,

Joe B

Are you using a terminal server, or is the application accessed via a share?

Well have you tried the same thing from your workstation ie from computer mgmt right click on Local and select "Connect to another computer

wallst32, all users are accessing network shares.

itsp1965, that's pretty much what I wanted. Is there a way to have it update every xx seconds?

Thanks,

Joe B
