I use notepad to manage my website...... Is this possible to have something embedded in the middle of a webpage from microsoft word without having to have the format all screwed up from the <text> </text> or <pre> </pre> tags........... I really need help......

You'd have to write the perl script... it'd take a long time to learn.

An iframe is a 'window' that you can position in your page and load an external file into it. Its mainly compliant in IE, but recently became available in Nutscrape 6.0. -gerrygerry

Is the Word document supposed to be dynamic or static? If it's a one-time thing that you need to do, you can just convert the Word document to html and cut and paste the part you need. If you have problems with all the c**p that MS puts in the html you can strip it out. (Caution: shameless plus ahead) I have a program called FixWord that will strip all but the basic html from a Word-generated html document. See Tracy Dryden
