I am using Crystal report 9.0 .When doing so , i find that the add2 filed is null for some records, I have to suppress the display of a blank line whenever the value os add2 is null.I cannot create a seperate section because this report combines a templte which has to run through all the section, adding another textbox and placinf add2 filed in the text box and using the suppress functionality with the formula {filedName}='' or {fieldname}is null supresses the display but gives a blank line?

I am using a text box to display a letter and add2 is a part of the address for the letter.

What would be the best way to prevent display of a blank line?

Thanks in anticipation..

Ajay,

Insert your Fields into a Text Object (drag and drop the fields into the text object box). Use RETURN to force each field into a new line within the text object.

Right click the text object, Format Text
and turn on the "Suppress Embedded Field Blank Lines" option.
