Recently bought Dell Optiplex GX620 running Windows XP Pro S2 for SOHO use.
I am the administrator and have created user accounts for my two young sons, wife & guest. These user accounts have limited rights.
PC is running ZoneAlarms Security Suite & McAfee AntiVirus software.
PROBLEM: Each time a user with limited rights logs on they get a little window pop up with "LookupPnP" in the titlebar of the window, a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark in it, "The operation completed successfully" appearing and "OK". This does not happen when I, as administrator, log on.
By clicking on the OK button repeatedly (about 6 times) the window disappears. Applications & PC work fine but the LookupPnP window is annoying.
I suspect that by giving all users administrator rights I could resolve the problem but given my two young sons like to play on PC also I do not want to do so just in case they create havoc with system files, or somehow delete my work files etc?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
