How can i step through java script code?

I have been developing with C# & Sql just moved to the net and working on a classic asp site, can anyone give me suggestions on debugging and steping through ASP (classic )and Javascript?

will help with ASP, as for JS you can use the FireBug add on to do this in Firefox.

Also, if you have Visual Studio (whether VB, C#, or any other CLR), it will popup a "do you wanna debug" prompt whenever there is a javascript error on your page.

To enable it, goto Tools->Internet Options->Advanced, and uncheck the "Disable Script Debugging" option (it's in the "Browsing" group near the top after accessibility.
