Hi all !

I have a problem with sending and receiving messages from a specific mail server. I can't receive e-mails from users who have an address@iam.net.ma.

In Raptor Log we find this kind of error:

smtp[255]: 228 smtp: can't connect to ms1.iam.net.ma port 25 (Connection refused.)
smtp[264]: 121 Statistics: duration=1.50 id=6RSwe rcvd=74 srcif=Vpn6 src=10.105.2.2/1511 srcname=ds1.orbcomm.net.ma dstif=Vpn4 dst=212.217.54.141/25 dstname=ms1.iam.net.ma proto=smtp rule=3 (Cannot connect to server)

Can you help me to understand this situation and have a solution to this problem. Thanks in advance.

On our mailmarshall we have blocked domains like *sexyfun.net for example. Maybe your domian is blocked, or your IP is in a blocked range for the site.

We had a similar problem. We could receive mail from one site but could not send. Found out that we did not have a reverse lookup setup correctly. As soon as we got the reverse lookup fixed, we were able to send/recieve.

1. Look at the config.cf file and see if smtpd_reverse_lookup (not sure about actual spelling) is set to true. If not set to true and other site (iam.net.ma) does not have reverse lookup, then that could cause problem.

2. If above does not work would suggest you look at your reverse lookup for your site. See if it is setup and working.

Hopefully this will help you.
