How can I set up 2514 to connect to cable modem and prevent return pin

Aloha everyone,

I just got a 2514 and i want to be able to connect it to my cable modem. From what i understand, i have to be running IOS 12.2T or above (which i have on it). Does anyone have a running config i can use? Also, Is there a way i can set it up so that the port connected to the Internet will not respond to ping request? Is it bad to do this?

You have to run the firewall feature set with some ACL's.
I have the exact setup at home.
What would you like to accomplish?
