How can I send a ringing DN on a 3904 straight to VM with waiting for the ring cycle to end?

No solution on a 3904 that I know of. You can program a Call deflect key on an IP phone that does exactly what you are wanting but that's the only thing I know of.

Try programming a MSB key - hit that during the ring cycle and see if it busies out the set and goes to VM?

I assume it will only deflect calls to your fdn or hunt if there is only one dn assigned to the phone?

MSB only works if it activated before the call comes in.
