How Can I run a report in Batch

Currently running CR9 Advanced with ASP pages. Looking for user to submit report to a process that will run report and create a PDF file. Currently works if I have the browser remain open while report is being created but I am looking for an option where the browser will not be locked up. Concern is that users will kill browser while report is still being created.

Interested in any options available including purchase of additional software.

An alternative is to look at Crystal Enterprise, unfortunately it's not available for CRR 9 yet, so you'd have to downgrade.
