how can i reset a record number on a change of group in crys. rep.? 1

im jmd19, im using crystal report 3, is there any way i can reset the record number to 0 when on a change of group in the report? help me anyone,thanks.

recordnumber cannot be reset, as it is the recordnumber.

You can create a Running Total or formulas to handle this, but Crystal Reports 3 predates the Running Total, and the conciousness of most people here...

The manual formulas in this link might work in CR3 - put them in the Group Header/Footer as described...
