Hi again,

I have just finished my report and uploaded then to the web server, but I realise that when the report renders in the browser, the parameters are scattered all over the place.

How can I get the parameter fields to render in particular order and positions?
Thanks

Not sure what you mean by this. How are you displaying the parameter values?

Thanks, I want to be able to make each control render in order like adding CSS to HTML for formatting.
Currently, the parameter fields render ok in the browser, but I dont like how they just render like some pack of cards - just falling on each other. Hope you understand?
thanks again.

No, not following this. Are you talking about the order of parameters in the parameter selection screen? In the field explorer->parameter you can right click on the parameter and set the position--but I don't think this is what you really mean...

What version of CR are you using?

In the Crystal Report Designer, Right Click on the Parameters in the Field Explorer and there should either be some up/down arrows to resequence or a menu to Set Parameter Order. (Depends on which version you are running)

I'm using crystal reports with visual studio 2008, I also compare with CR10 (of course they give thesame result).
lbass is right, that is not what I really mean.

The order of the parameter fields dont really matter, what matters is that they render on my browser (and they currently do).

However, when the parameters finish rendering they render on their own accord. I want to be able to determine the position of each parameter on the screen, the color of the input boxes, the height and width of the input boxes, etc. (Just like using CSS with HTML)....I wish I could attact a screen shot, so you'd understand me better.

Which would you choose?

Think about it.

I don't think this is a Crystal Reports question, but instead relates to Visual Studio.
