I have done a clean/new install of Windows XP, which installed IE 6. I need to install a customized copy of IE 6, using IEAK 6. It will not allow me, because IE 6 is already installed. IE 6 does not show in ADD/REMOVE programs, but can be removed from the Desktop from the Add/Remove Windows Component. However, this remove doesn't help any.
Any suggestions as to How to Remove it?

Just be careful with the IEradicator program as it can and will delete files that are needed by other programs. (We found out the hardway). The files will be replaced with a new installation of IE but if you don't immediately install IE some programs may complain.

I still like the program and still use it but you do need to be aware of this little quirk. joegz
