I have two DC's that no longer exist.

I thought I had removed them at the time using metadata cleanup

They still physically exist in the 'Computers' group in Active Directory

Under Properties/Member of/ they are listed as members of Domain controllers

I cannot bind to them now using metadata cleanup

Any ideas?

What happens when you try to remove them in the GUI properties of the server accounts? error message?

'The DSA object cannot be deleted'

When I try and change the primary group from 'Domain controllers' to a different group, I get :

'Cannot change the primary GUI of a domain controller

Thanks..

That worked fine - I would've googled it myself, but thought it was just an anomoly - thanks
