if you are just wanting to go back to your previous version of internet explorer and not uninstall it completely try this
double click my computer , double click control panel , double click add/remove programs , scroll down till you see Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 and Internet Tools , double click on that listing and a box will pop up , choose the Restore the previous Windows Configuration option.
This will uninstall back to whatever version you had before good luck.
