how can I read my file from tomat server

In my html file I can play a sound file using activex component by reading the voice file which is put
on apache server, just like address "

http://www.mysite.com/sound/voice.wma"

, but It seems I cannot put the voice file at tomcat's somewhere
and read it from my client. Can I do it only using tomcat?
I really donot want do it using tomcat only .
