If I develop an ASP application and going to distribute, how can I ensure that user will not duplicate it and use it without proper acknowledgement? In other word, I'm developing a distributable ASP application for IIS and want to ensure people will not duplicate and distribute it. Is there a way?

Heard that I have to develop a COM. But how do I code it? Really need some coding help in this field. Thanks. I am a clever newbie...[peace]

well COM object are progams written in Java, VB, VC that do whatever your app does....but basically you will have to write program that will do whatever you need that your ASP does...

the object then gets registered on the server and a series of ASP pages can then invoke the COM through the server.createobject method(s)
