How can I pretend to be a browser in php

I want to access a secure site (https) sending post data as well as being able to pretend to recieve and actually send cookies back. Does anyone have any idea as to how to begin going about this??

Yo have at least 2 options:

1. read up on the HTTP protocol and use the header() command to send the headers and data you want.

2. Have a look at cURL. It supports everything you described in your message.
