I have an hyperlinked image. When a user clicks on this image, I'd like to open another small window that displays a full size version of this image AND make a short "pop" noise.

How the heck can I do that? Do I need to do this in flash or anything or can I use dynamic html/javascript/html...and how?

Vrag: you don't need a link tag when you're referring to a thread, simple type in the thread number (with the word "thread" as part of it) just as it appears under the title, like this: thread215-1130736 (don't bother to click it, its this thread) and the site will automatically turn it into a link to the correct thread. The same holds true for forums, just type in: forum216

Tracy,

I always wondered about that! It's not mentioned in the 'Process TGML' page.

Testing (link to this thread): thread215-1130736

Thanks!

You're right, it doesn't even mention thread and forum links. I can't even remember how I learned about it. Probably someone else told me how to do it. I'll email TPTB and mention that they should include it somewhere.

That's TWO things you've taught me today! I never would have thought of the acronym TPTB, but I love it! :)

I wondered if I should explain the acronym. I guess you got it. I've also seen just PTB.

There is a series of SF books (Powers That Be, Power Lines, Power Play) by Anne Mccaffrey and Elizabeth Ann Scarborough that made the term stick in my head.
