How can I perform a backup of my MAS90 data?

Hello everyone. We recently migrated to SAP and will be wanting to archive our MAS90 data. I was not sure if I needed to perform a backup from the MAS90 application or if I could just ZIP up the MAS90 directory on our network location. What is the best way to do this? Thank you in advance!

If you are not using a sql version, then I would zip.
