We have an Option 11c switch with CallPilot 1.07.
I have several phantom 500 DN's but now those user's have been given actual phones. They now have 2 DN's w/voicemail boxes. Is there anyway to forward the phantom 500 to the new DN or to recreate the old DN as something else, maybe an ACDN and NCFW to the new extention?

delete the phantoms and add those DNs to the phones as rollover. Then in CP add those DNs as Extension DN to the main DN

If delete the phantom 500 DN, and add it as a forward on the new number - when someone dials the old DN will it ring or go directly into VM on CallPilot?

It will ring on the set and then go to voicemail as long as you have hunting and FDN turned on, and the LHK is set to the right key.

Why not out the Phantom and give that DN to the New phone. Done, finished, complete. Why make life harder then it needs to be.

I can't give the DN's to the new phones because we have a block of numbers for internal only. We have a group of people [Police Officers] who had voicemail boxes only, the general CallPilot number was given and when someone would call the would enter the four digit extention - the DN's of those are internal only.
A few have recently received phones and require new DN's.

However, since the other DN's were set up years ago, many people still have those numbers for this specific group and it will take time for people to be notified of the new phone number. In the meantime, to save them from checking 2 VMB, I figured if I could have both DN's point to one mailbox, then the issue would be resolved.

I have them cleaning up their old VMB and I am going to try to delete the Phantom 500 and then add it to CallPilot as a revert DN.

here's the way i would handle that.. make the new did the main dn and the msg waiting dn, make the phantom (internal) a ext dn on that mb.. leave both numbers the same in the switch... one mb, both numbers light one msg lamp, remote notification still works

You will still have to out the old Vmail box, you can't have 2 vmail with the same ext number
