Please excuse me as I am new to PABX admin.

I have a meridian option 81C system and using 3904 digital phones, some users here have features on * and # keys that need using when they are on calls. However when they press the keys during calls (only) they and the other parties can actually hear the beeps.

Is there anyway I can turn that sound off and make it silent?

in the cdb change esst to yes dtmf to no.. that still sends tone but not back to the user
