Hello guys, i am hoping you are all doing great.

Asterisk server has Digium 1TE235BF 2Port PRI card.
Panasonic has 1 PRI30 card

Port-1 of PRI card on Asterisk connects to the Telco. Port-2 of the PRI card on Asterisk, connects to the PRI30 port on KX-TDA200. Eveything is working fine except the extensions on Asterisk can't call to the PSTN using the analog trunks connected on the KX-TDA200

There was typing error.
The issue is "extensions on Asterisk can't call to the PSTN using the analog trunks connected on the KX-TDA200"

Thanks for your reply

This is sll down to the number plan I would say. What is the line access code on the panasonic and is it pointed to the panasonic from the asterisks system.

So if line access is 9 it should be sent to the panasonic system / qsig trunk

Also cos on the panasonic system trunk group should be 1

I think i have set it that way.
All calls to the PSTN (from Asterisk) have 9 pre-pended to them before sending to the Panasonic.
So i send 9 + PSTN Number. The QSIG Trunk on Panasonic is in Trunk group 1 and COS 7

However, all extensions on the KX-TDA200 are abble to make outbound calls to the PSTN through the E1 Line on Port-1 of the 1TE235BF Dual span E1 card on the Asterisk. So i would expect the extensions on Asterisk to somehow be able to use the analog trunks connected to the KX-TDA200 to make calls to the PSTN.

So i will change COS to 1 and see what happens.

Interestingly, although everything is working expect the issue above, Asterisk does not accept the normal 10 digits (local numbers)sent from Panasonic. It accepts only 9 and i have to insert a "0" before sending to the PSTN. IP Extensions from the Asterisk can dial out with 10 digits without a problem. When the E1 is connected to the KX-TDA200, 10 digits work fine. Where can i fix this so users on KX-TDA200 extensions do not have to omit "0" when dialing local numbers though the E1 on Asterisk?. I will be grateful for a solution.

You could use ars to route the calls to the asterisks system or in tie table tell it to remove the 0 before it sending it to the other system

Can you see the lines being picked up on the panasonic

Can you see the lines being picked up on the panasonic" -> When you try to make a call to the PSTN through the Analog trunks connected to the KX-TDA200, they instead ring at the operator connector on the Panasonic KX-TDA200.

"You could use ARS to route the calls to the asterisks system" -> These are working fine without any issues.

Extensions on both systems can call to the PSTN via the E1(From Telco) which is connected to the Asterisk server.

My main problem is as below; others are okay.

Extensions on Asterisk -> Panasonic KX-TDA200 -> Analog trunks (connected to KX-TDA200) -> To PSTN

I will visit the site in a day or two.

if the call is ringing the operator it is because the Panasonic is seeing it as an incoming call.

do you have qsig master and slave configured on the systems.

I thought you wanted the Panasonic to remove the 0 so the customer doesn't have to exclude it

do you have qsig master and slave configured on the systems" ---> YES
"I thought you wanted the Panasonic to remove the 0 so the customer doesn't have to exclude it" ---> True, when calling to the PSTN from an extension on Panasonic using the E1 Line connecting on Port-1 of the Digium 1TE235BF card on the Asterisk server (But this is not important right now). What is important now is to allow the extensions on Asterisk server to be able to use the Analog trunks connected on the Panasonic KX-TDA200

Can you dial extensions on the panasonic system from the asterisks system

If you do a trace on the data coming in on the Panasonic what does it show

Can you dial extensions on the panasonic system from the asterisks system" --> YES
Calling from Asterisk to Panasonic 1XX,2XX,3XX,4XX & 5XX (The capacity of the KX-TDA200 is exhausted - Reason for the integration)
Calling from Panasonic to Asterisk 9 + 6XX (Extension on Asterisk are (600 ... 699)
Calling from Panasonic to PSTN via E1 Line connected on Port-1 of Digium 1TE23BF card on Asterisk is 9 + PSTN number (Excluding the first digit which is a "zero").

"If you do a trace on the data coming in on the Panasonic what does it show" --> Haven't done this but i have a feeling the Asterisk is not inserting a "pause" after sending 9 to Panasonic before it dials the rest of the digits.

i.e 9 + pause + PSTN number.

Will check digits sent to Panasonic and see
