I'd like to be able to see more of the pages that load and not have to scroll so much. How can I make everything on the page smaller so I can see more of it at the same time?
I tried making the font smaller but that doesn't change the amount of page I can see.
Thanks!

In Opera, hit 9 to make the page smaller and 0 to make it larger. Go as small or large as you want. Hit 6 to return to the default size. In IE, you are out of luck.

In IE 6.0 (5.5 too) you have a couple of options. What I like is that neither one makes the text on the page smaller.

1. Hit the F11 key. Your page now takes up the entire screen except for the standard buttons. This gives you an extra 2 or 3 inches depending on your settings for the standard toolbar (see item 2). To return to "normal" view hit the F11 key again.

The only drawback with this is that you lose your Taskbar when you are in this view. Therefore you don't see your new mail icon or your clock. However, its easy enough to every once in a while hit F11 to have a quick look at what else is happening on your desktop.

2. Go View ->Toolbars ->Customize. For Text Options select "no text labels" and for Icon Options select "Small Icons".

In IE6 go to the View menu and choose Text Size. From here you can choose from 5 preset sizes. Season to taste.
