How Can I Increase the Time IE Allows Me to Get on the Internet

Using a wireless modem/dial up connection takes some time to get the internet up and running. Sometimes, it timesout and goes to 'page not found'. Is there a way to extend the period of time it allows to get into the internet? Thanks.

this is a modem timeout issue not IE, check your settings on your modem
