How can I incorporate a tif image viewer into a web site?

The thing is, I know this application is only for our internal office intranet, and we can assume users will have some kind of tif image viewer installed. (Even though each viewer may be a different one.)

The specs call for a "hyperlink" type of trigger on the asp page that will launch an image viewer of the original scanned image of the order document.

The order documents are all saved on \\<server>\<client>\images\ and they are all tifs.

Someone suggested that I just goto a generic asp page that has an image on it of the referenced tif. Have not tried that yet.

Any experience doing something like that?

Thanks for your help...

You won't be able to launch an image viewer. You will need to use your coworkers suggestion.

OK that will probably have to do. It's just that the image will not have ability to resize, zoom or scroll etc. like the cool tool that an image viewer can do.

Thank you

There may be something out there you can incorperate into the page using active X or a com object.
