I have an SQL DB that was sent me, that I need to extract the data into MS Access.

Is this possible without having SQL Server?

If so, could you please give description on how to access it.

Thanks

you can't find a better site.

I would normally use fox for things like that, but I have never worked in a non-SQL environment (and usually my problem is getting access db's into SQL). You could download SQL Server Express if all else fails.

Good Luck,

Alex

I don't think so. SQL Server runs as a service, you need it to query for the data.

As mentioned, you could install SQL Server Express, its free.
