Sorry about the q, but i am very new to this

I havean XP machine on my domain with all the correct software on it, i also have 2 almost identical machines that i need to have all the software on.

I have purchased Ghost 14, but i am totally stuck as to how i can get a clone image from my existing machine to the new ones.

I have used Ghost 8 before, but this new one looks more like a backup software rather than an imaging solution

can anyone help?

The manual is no use

Thanks

Here's the manual:

Keep in mind that you should own a multiple license version of Windows (such as corporate) for legal reasons. Also, the Windows SID will be identical on both PC's, so if you are sharing resources directly between the two in a workgroup environment, you could have issues. If the PC's belong to a domain, then it won't necessarily matter.

If you think the SID will be an issue or if you want to change it on one PC just in case, here's Microsoft's free tool called NewSID:

Thanks for that, yes this is part of a domain

I cant seem to download the manual from that link, can anyone else?

Thanks for your help

Instead of left-clicking the link, right-click it. Choose "Save Target As..." which should allow you to save it first before opening.

Sometimes Adobe Reader hangs when you try to open an PDF in the browser.
