How can I give someone the possibility to perform recover operations ?
I tried it so far and I always receive an error : Cannot recover-must be owner.
I don't want him to become administrator, he should only be allowed to perform recovers on a specific client.

If it is on a UNIX platom, then set up the sudo command on that client and the user will be able to restore any file as "root".

I wish it was a UNIX platform but it's not : NT4 Legato NW 5.5.3 !

Do you have the "Allow Manual Backups" enabled? If this does not work, what you may have to do is install the server client software portion on the machine in question and make it a client. Then you can specify the user you desire to perform the restores in the Remote Administration area like so: "username@machinename" or "user@domain.name"

Good luck. Watch your lisence usage here, remember this last mentioned method will take up a client.

I tried with the "Allow Manual Backups" enabled but it's still the same.

Due to the price of licenses and the fact that I don't have any left, I can't create the workstation as a new client.

Thx anyway.
