I'm currently using Peachtree Quantum Accounting 2012 with Crystal Reports XII. I'm trying to write a report that mainly shows 3 things: Ship By Date, Invoice number, & Invoice Date. I can get 2 of the fields to show, but not the 3rd. Below are the tables that are involved.

JrnlHdr
JrnlRow

Peachtree calls certain journals by associating a journal number with the transaction. Example: you need to set JrnlKey_Journal to 3 if you'd like information from Sales Journal. You'll need to set JrnlKey_Journal to 11 if you'd like to call from Sales Order Journal. From my 3 fields, Ship By Date is from the Sales Order Journal(I'll need to set JrnlKey_Journal to 11) and Invoice number with Invoice Date is from the Sales Journal(I'll need to set JrnlKey_Journal to 3). I tried Select Expert - Record and have JrnlKey_Journal set to "One of" 3 or 11 but then all 3 fields do not appear. I've also tried to call ShipDate(Invoice Date) with the Journal set to 3, but the field just comes up blank. Is there some sort of formula that will help me accomplish this? Do I need to come up with a different approach? Any help in this matter would be appreciated.

Hi,
How are the tables linked?

Is the JrnlKey_Journal only in the JrnlHdr?

You can add the same table twice, the second time it is an alias and treated as if it were a different table. Does that help?

@Turkbear,

Yes, it's only under JrnlHdr.

@Madawc,
Ahhh...that makes so much sense. Don't see why I couldn't think of that. I'll try it from that angle and provide updates once I try. Thanks for your replies!

I tried Madawc's solution, but Crystal Reports tends to freeze at "Accessing Database"? I'm thinking adding a 2nd table for JrnlHdr & JrnlRow is causing it to crash? Anyone know why this is?
