You will by now realise that it's going to cost some money to get any assistance from Avaya. It's not something that I can help you with, but I've just added in some info on a different thread below that you might want to look at?.
One of the easiest ways is to read up the process of extracting the *.lic file from the BCM hard disk via a USB to SATA/IDE cable and using a windows program called Linux reader.
A number of use have used it and it does work as the tool allows you to "read" the BCM hard disk and extract the licencefile.txt file that contains the keycodes.
If you do have to reprogram the whole system, at least you can start off from scratch with them. Also add in a few more login accounts at the same time, and finally make sure that you do regular backups and configure the system to also save the data to the USB drive via a memory stick.
The last bit saves you from having to start a thread on a topic that we see on a weekly basis!.
On a different note, I'm assuming that you can "ping" the BCM OK?. Is it a 400 or 50/450 etc?.
If you have a BCM 400, is it a 4.0 Linux system?. You might want to see what output you get via the serial port in case your problem is actually IP related and therefore the service has failed preventing you from accessing the system.
All the best
