How can I get the content of a field in a table in another table

I have a database where it looks up who is logged in and puts the data into a field "ClockNumber" within table "currentUser". How can I get the content of "ClockNumber" field within "currentUser" to populate a "ClockNumber" field in a table named "tblRequestAudit

Are you wanting to do this via a form that the user is logging into? There are several ways to do it, you can run a query from the form that would be kicked off based on some criteria being met in the loggin form or you can do it from code based on the same criteria.

You have to tell us what you are doing and from where.
