How can I get spell check in Office 2007 to accept Spanish? 1

I send mail written in English, using Outlook 2007. My wife writes in Spanish. Spell check does not work with her messages, even though I did a Windows Update and installed the optional Spanish Language Pack. How can I get spell check to work with both languages?
