How can I get rid from W97.CIH Virus ?

My comuputer is infected by W97M.CIH virus. Now, when I opne any text editor W is printed automatilcally.
e.g.

http://wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww...wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

and my W key of keyboard is not working.

It is also perform on dos prompt.

Now, I scanned it using Symantec latest updates and removed many viruses but it is still there on dos prompt and I don't know where it is. Now, my computer is not running and it hangs on starting on Windows options.

I have Windows 98 on my PC. Please , anyone can help me.
How can I get rid from this trouble?
Is this virus dangor for BIOS.
