Working on a small project and I just hit a big wall (for me it is - any way).

I am using <div> to trigger ON/OFF jump menus. I am using Flash to display dynamically drawn charts. The intend of the menu is to allow user to jump from one chart to another without having to scroll through however many charts ...

As per my design, the best possible spot for the jump menu falls in direct collision with the charts. I need to force my jump menu to display on top of the flash movie and not behind.

What say you?

Thank you all in advance!

BillyRay,

Thank you so much for you help ... Problem solved!

You know, I was also under the impression that z-index setting meant that HIGH number on top ... but it appears to be the opposite.

So, having fixed the z-index and adding your parameter, I was able to get the look I want.

Thank you again!

z-index does show the higher number 'on top' but there are a few caveats as to how it works.

On top of that (pardon the pun) Flash doesn't behave like other 'normal' page elements.
