I am wanting to find out if we have 5 skus (1,2,3,4,5) which skus people buy together. Any thoughts on that? Crosstab would be best and lays the report out correctly but it will only make a connection b/t the same skus.

sku 12345
1
2
3
4
5

in this example, it will show the number of customers who bought sku 1 to sku 1 but it doesn't know how to calculate it to tell me how many bought sku 1 and bought sku 2. does that make sense?

your best bet is to generate your own SQL statements and use the power of your database engine, then you can use the functions that search for patterns as you desire, but that is a database function, not a cognos function that I am referring to.
