How can I find out if E2K Srvr is being used as a relay?

How can I find out if our Exchange 2k server is being used as a relay and how do I stop it?

I have noticed that on days that nobody is in the office the server is trying to send out messages in the wee hours of the night/morning. Also the log files (MDBDATA) fills up the disk. (could this be a different problem?)

I have read the faq and tested our domain. It came back clean, but the e-mails are still trying to send out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

will check to see if a particular host is being used as a relay....

also check the in the properties of the default smtp server, under the access tab and relay - make sure 'only the list below' is selected.....
