How can I find my web DNS without sking my provider?

Is there a way I can find the DNS number of my web page without sking my provider?

Well, the purpose is basically for the hosting transfer.
I have a friend...
Somebody did a web page hosting for her.
Now she wants to transfer the hosting to have it under her control.
To transfer the hosting, the new provider asks for the DNS.
If she asks the person who has the current hosting, he probably (she thinks) would not be willing to give it up.

She would like to be able to do the transfer regardless of his consent, because it is her name and her web.

They won't. it's very common for things to be moved around like that. She is the customer, it is her account, it is not for them to decide.


Carlsberg don't run I.T departments, but if they did they'd probably be more fun.
