Hi,

Is there a way to scan a bunch of compiled modules in a library and extract their compiled date on SAS mainframe.

Thanks,

Check out the Dictionary Tables, most metadata can be extracted from them. I'm not sure what "compiled modules" you're referring to and have no experience, but most things like this I've needed have been found in the Dictionary tables. Search the online doco for Proc SQL, you should find some help there.

If your asking how to see the original compiled date of an entry in a SAS catalog you can use the SASHELP.vcatalg sas view. Use the 'created' var to get the date that the entry was created.
