HI!

I have 6.1 backup server. I created ~50 file devices
without restarting server and long time work with them.
But when I reboot server it didn't started and hang on
nsrlmc. And in daemon.log next:

00/00/04 10:10:08 nsrd: server notice: started
00/00/04 10:12:00 nsrmmdbd: media db is cross checking the have sets
00/00/04 10:12:00 nsrmmdbd: media db is open for business
00/00/04 10:13:20 nsrlmc: nsrd did not respond. nsrd must be started before running nsrlmc.
If nsrd is running, you may have exceeded a resource limit.

How can I examine resourcce(device ?) limit on my server ?

This is probably only a temporary problem. Are you really using the license manager? - If so, why?

You must use a base license to enable license checking. In evaluation mode (no license), the daemon.log
file clearly states "license checking disabled".

Depending on your license, you should either be able to create a certain number of devices:

- Workgroup/Business Edition 4
- NetWork Edition 16
- Power Edition 32
