good luck
"think twice and hit enter once"

i already did that.
it doesn`t work
any other idea?

Is your root shell (from /etc/passwd), included within the /etc/shells file. If it isn't, you won't be able to log in until you add it (assuming /etc/shells exists, that is - if not, you can create it, but be sure to include all shells you'll need within it).

Hope this helps.

i created the shells file too,
does the ined.d nedds to br restarted or reboot necessary?

I don't think so. Are you still having problems? Is ftp working for anyone else and is it included in the /etc/services file? Sorry for all the questions!!

yes . it is working for all the other users,
I`ll check the /etc/services -and get back to you..

thanks 4 now
