How can I disable the query or table in the databse window

You could set up Access security and deny privileges on that table and query. However setting up and administering Access security is not a trivial task and is not for the faint of heart.
You might be better served by presenting your data in a form and setting form properties to disallow updates. You can then hide the database window and all the user will see is your form.
