How can I detect my VGA Card

I need a freeware program for me to detect my vga card in Windows 98.

click on monitors
you should find the vga info there or one of the tabs

you need to identiy it in the device manager/system info.

i can't remember W98 (too long ago) but i thought the system info gave you the manufacturer

You can download BelArc Advisor for free off the internet. It should tell you what components are installed on your system . It gives a break down of hardware/software installed. Updates that have been applied and updates that need to be reloaded. I recommend this program.

what kind (make, model, manu) and system speed, etc is the machine you have?

Download AIDA32 and see if that detects your display adapter.

If it does, it should also give a link to the manufacturer's driver download page.
