I know it sounds like I am being a killjoy, but our Exchange 2000 server is creaking at the hinges!! I have repeatedly asked users to delete emails, empty deleted items etc. Now the management want me to remove peoples emails that contain 'funnies' i.e. MPG files, MP3s etc.
Is there any way of doing this?
In System Manager I can see some people have 900Mb mailboxes
and these are the people I need to target. We are running Groupshield and it is configured to block the above files but this doesn't delete them!

One way to do this is to give your account full mailbox rights to all the mail boxes ...

Then you can add their mailbox into Outlook and edit and delete to your hearts content. (Get properties of your mailbox in Outlook, Advanced, Advanced, Add) You'll then be able to seach for any messages over a certain size.

Hope this helps.
