how can I delete all of /usr/local 1

I think I should login with single user mode , but I can not mount /usr/local . how should I do ?

um, what's the error? does this occur as root? is /usr/local local to your box or a network mount?

thank you , I deleted it , I just donot know in the single user mode , the / are mounted readonly , and I remounted it by write mode , and deleted it.
