I am trying to automate a process which has an excel macro as part of the process. The issue is the macro prompts for enabling macros or disable macros -- so its sitting there waiting for user input. How can I default this to "enable macros" or click the enable button.

Hi,

YOU can't.

It is a built-in security issue. It's totally up to the user to enable macros or not.

If you want to FORCE the user, so to speak, then make VERY HIDDEN, all sheets except for a splash sheet. If the user does not enable macros, then all thy can see is this one sheet. If they enable macros, then in the workbook open event, make the very hidden sheets visible, AND reset the very hidden sheets in the beforesave event.
