How can I connect an external database to an asp????

Hi

I have an asp aplication but the database is in other server, in other city. It's an Oracle database but I don't know what is the connection string.

For example:

conexion.ConnectionString="Driver={Microsoft ODBC for Oracle};UID="&user&";PWD="&pass&";Server=GROUP/SERVER_UNIX"

What is the ok connection string?

For server, have you tried specifying the IP address of the box, instead of group/server_unix? I personally have never used oracle, but that's how I connect to our SQL server box. This is assuming that your oracle box is set up to allow connections over tcp/ip...
