If I am in a call with an other party and a third party calls me, as far as I can tell, I can only hold and swap the two calls. I wish to conference in the third party. This obviously works well if I initiate the call to the third party using a consultation call (or NHC), but there MUST be a way to include a third party.

Thanks
Sven

If you are on a call and someone comes in?

Place your current call on hold.
Answer new call.
Press your conference button
Press the line key that the first call is on
Press the Conference button again.

All your parties will be connected.

If you are on a call and someone comes in and you want to automatically conference. I'm not sure.

Hope this helps

John

Thanks John.

It did work on our phones (2008). Not the most intuitive
way of doing conference and definitely not to be found in the documentation.

My next problem is that is want to do this exact function but using CTConnect (CTI middleware). No succsess yet. Using CTC I can easily do outgoing conference, action 3 and 4 below do not map to any CTC functions :
1 Place your current call on hold.
2 Answer new call.
3 Press your conference button
4 Press the line key that the first call is on
5 Press the Conference button again.

I am still looking in to it, any tips would be helpful!

Thanks
Sven
